A tiny picture that lets chat speak your language
Emotes are the language of chat. Viewers use them to react to the action, say hello or say thanks, and a channel's good emotes start to live a life of their own, even outside the stream: on the Discord server, in comments and on merch.
An emote has one difficulty: in chat it is shown at 28 pixels. At that size detail, thin lines and small text disappear, and what remains is a silhouette, an expression and colour. That is why we draw every emote with the smallest size in mind and check it in a real chat, in light and dark themes.
We draw emotes with your character: your face in a simplified style, the channel mascot or your VTuber model. The whole set shares one line and palette, so the emotes look like a family rather than a collection of pictures from different places.
Files are prepared to the Twitch and Discord requirements, checked at the source. Economic rights to the emotes pass to you once the invoice is paid, so you can use them on your channel, on your server and on merch.

How we draw emotes
Brief1 day
The character, the names and meaning of the emotes, channel jokes and examples you like.
1Sketches1-3 days
Sketches of every emote at the target size, for approval.
2Drawing2-7 days
Line, colour and shading in one style.
3Animation1-2 weeks
Motion frames within Twitch's limits, in the animated package.
4Files1 day
Export at every size and a chat test.

We reserve about 15% of the project time for revisions. A list of emotes with their meaning helps most: instead of happy character, write reaction to a won round.
What emote pricing depends on
The price depends on the number of emotes, animation and whether the character already exists.
- 1
Number of emotes
Each emote is a separate drawing, and a set makes it easier to keep one style.
- 2
Animation
An animated emote is a dozen or several dozen frames within a file limit.
- 3
Character
Designing a character from scratch is an extra stage before the emotes.
- 4
Detail
Rich shading and accessories take more work to stay legible at small sizes.
How not to overpay
- Order a set instead of single emotes
- Prepare a list of emotes with their meaning
- Use an existing character or model
- Start static, animate the most used ones
Who we draw emotes for
Affiliates and partners
When the channel has emote slots for subscribers and wants to fill them with its own.
VTubers
When emotes should show the model's character in different emotions.
Discord servers
When a community needs its own reactions and in-jokes as emoji.
YouTube creators
When a channel with memberships needs emotes for members.
Game studios
When the game's community should use emotes with its characters.
What to prepare before ordering emotes
A list of emotes with their meaning matters most. We will settle the rest together.
0 / 6 ready
- A list of emotes describing what each should express
- Face photos, a mascot or a VTuber model
- Channel colours and branding, if you have them
- Jokes and catchphrases from chat
- Emotes from other channels you like
- Emote names, if you have them

Emotes that chat actually uses
Legible at 28 pixels
Twitch needs an emote in three sizes, from 28 to 112 pixels, because it shows emotes in different places and on screens of different pixel density. A design that looks great at 112 pixels can turn into a blob at 28. That is why we draw with a thick outline, a big head and strong expressions, and keep text to one short word or leave it out.
We check every emote on a screenshot of a real chat, in light and dark themes, next to popular global emotes. If it blends in or you cannot tell what it expresses, we fix it before delivery.
Animation within platform limits
An animated Twitch emote is a GIF of up to 60 frames and 1 MB, and the rules forbid flashing more than three times a second. These limits shape the design: the motion must be short, looping and readable, and colours limited so the file fits.
Every animated emote also has a static version. Twitch uses the first frame of the GIF as the thumbnail, but you can upload your own, so we prepare a frame that looks good standing still too.
Character and rights
Emotes work best when they show you or the channel character. We draw them from your photos in a simplified style, from a mascot or from a VTuber model. We do not draw characters from other people's games, films or anime, because emotes on a channel are commercial use you do not have the rights for.
Once the invoice is paid, economic rights to the emotes pass to you, so you can use them on Twitch, Discord, social media and merch, such as stickers or T-shirts.
