Branding step by step: strategy, naming, logo, visual identity and brand book
Branding is every decision about how a company looks and sounds. We show the order to make them in, what to order at launch and what can wait, and what each service costs.
What branding means in practice
In conversations about branding it is easy to mix up three things: the logo, the visual identity and the brand. The logo is the mark. The visual identity is the system around it: colours, typefaces, a graphic motif and rules. The brand is what customers think of the company after meeting all of it, from the business card to the way you answer emails.
Branding as a service covers the decisions that come before the design and the materials that come after it. First we settle who the company is for and how it stands out, sometimes we choose a name. Then the logo and identity are created. Finally the system goes onto letterhead, signage, packaging or a careers page.
Not every company needs every step. For a sole trader offering a service, a logo with a logo sheet is enough to start. A company that employs sales staff and sends proposals will soon miss a brand book and templates. A product brand has to think about packaging right away, and a company with a few years of history about what customers must not lose in a change.
On this page we list every brand service in the order a brand is built, with a starting price. Each one has its own page with packages, the process and answers to common questions.
What it costs to start: logo design starts at 1,200 PLN net, a visual identity with colours, typefaces and materials at 2,900 PLN, and a brand strategy with a workshop at 1,500 PLN. A company name with a tagline and domain checks starts at 900 PLN, and brand guidelines for a logo you already have also start at 900 PLN.

Mistakes that cost the most later
A logo without vector files
The mark only exists as a small PNG. Every sign, t-shirt and billboard then starts with recreating the logo and paying for vectorization.
Colours chosen by eye
Without recorded CMYK and HEX codes every printer and designer hits a different shade. A year later the brand has five versions of one colour.
Fonts without a licence
A typeface downloaded for a logo or website may need a commercial licence. We check this when choosing the typography.
A name nobody checked
A name chosen without checking domains and similar trademarks can force a change after the materials are already printed.
Company branding without the mystery
Branding versus marketing
Branding decides who the brand is: what it is called, how it looks, how it speaks and what it promises. Marketing decides how and where to show that brand: in ads, on social media, in search and at trade fairs. One works poorly without the other.
A campaign without a consistent brand spends budget on messages nobody remembers, because each looks different. A brand without marketing is polished, but few people see it. That is why branding is done once, properly, and marketing runs continuously, using its rules.
What company branding costs
The cost depends on how many brand elements you need. A logo design alone starts at 1,200 PLN net, and a visual identity runs from 2,900 PLN for the Start package to 9,800 PLN for a full system with a brand book. Brand strategy starts at 1,500 PLN for a workshop, and naming at 900 PLN.
A small service business usually covers its brand launch with a logo, a logo sheet and a few materials. A company that plans a team, a website and campaigns from the start needs a broader system. Exact scopes and prices are on each service page, and we prepare a quote for the whole after a short conversation.
How to choose a branding agency
Start with the portfolio, but do not stop at pretty pictures. Check whether the agency shows brands on real applications, not just a logo on white, and whether its projects differ from each other instead of looking like one template.
Ask about the process, the number of concepts, how revisions are handled, the rights transfer and the list of files. A good agency answers specifically and in writing. Be wary of promised results nobody can guarantee and of offers without a described scope, because then prices are hard to compare.
Small business branding: the minimum to start
A few things done well are enough to start: a name with a free domain, a logo in versions for light and dark backgrounds, two or three colours, one or two typefaces and a logo sheet that records these decisions. Add a business card, an email signature and a social media profile picture.
This minimum lets you act consistently from day one and grow the brand without rework. Brand guidelines, templates and stationery come once there is a team and more places where customers see the company.
Personal brand versus company brand
An expert, coach or creator is often a brand in their own right. The logo can then be a simple wordmark with their name or a monogram, while colours, photos, typography and social media templates where the person appears every day carry more of the weight.
When the business grows and a team appears, it is worth deciding whether the brand should keep resting on the person or move to the company name. That decision is easier at the strategy stage than years later, when customers only know the name of the owner.
Brand consistency over time
A brand rarely breaks at once. It breaks slowly: a new employee makes a post in a different typeface, the printer matches the colour by eye, someone stretches the logo to fit a banner. A year later every material looks slightly different.
That is why rules and templates are part of branding, not just the mark. Brand guidelines, social media and document templates and one person who looks after the brand in the company protect what you invested in the design.
Branding, search and your website
A consistent brand helps online too: the same name, logo and company description on the website, in the maps profile and on social media help customers confirm they have found the right company. Mismatched names and old logos across services raise doubts.
When branding a new company, reserve the domain and profile names straight away, and when rebranding, plan redirects from old addresses. These are easy to forget and cost the most when they have to be fixed later.
How long branding from scratch takes
A name and logo alone take a few weeks, a full identity with brand guidelines one to two months, and strategy, name, identity and materials together can take a quarter. Most of the time goes not into drawing but into decisions: choosing the direction, the name and the concept.
If the company launches on a set date, we agree what must be ready for the launch and what can come later. Often a logo, a business card and a social media profile are enough, and the rest is made in the first months of business.
Who on your side should take part
Branding decisions concern the whole company, so the person who finally approves the brand should attend the workshop or concept presentation. Someone who talks to customers every day also helps, because they know their questions and concerns.
A large group at every decision lengthens the project. It is better to gather opinions beforehand and come to the presentation with one agreed position.
