What 3D product renders costand when they replace a shoot
A 3D model of a product is made once, and the same model then gives packshots for the shop, campaign shots and animations. That is often cheaper than another photo shoot for every variant.
When 3D instead of photos
3D visuals work when the product does not exist yet because it is waiting for production, when you have many colour variants, or when you need shots that are hard to take with a camera. Every new colour is a material change in the model, not a new shoot.
What 3D visuals cost at Aphrodi
A 3D packshot costs from 900 PLN net: a model of one product, three 4K shots on white, a transparent background version and the model source file, in 5-7 working days.
3D product visuals at 2,200 PLN give the product model, six 4K shots, two colour variants and one styled scene, in 2-3 weeks. A 3D product animation at 3,900 PLN is a 15-20 second animation with four camera shots, in 16:9 and 9:16, in 3-4 weeks.
What affects the price
The complexity of the shape and materials changes the most: glass, metal and fabric take more work than matte card. Then come the number of shots, colour variants and styled scenes, and whether you need animation.
A 3D model is made once. Every further shot from the same model costs less than the first.
How to prepare for a quote
Send the dimensions or a technical drawing, photos of the product or prototype, the print design, the list of variants and where the visuals will be used: in the shop, in a campaign or on screens.
