What you get in a naming project
We deliver results in a PDF where each recommended name has a rationale, check results and a sample rendering.
Name criteria
Agreed at the start: what the name should suggest, which languages it works in, what to avoid.
Candidate list
From 15 to 50 names, depending on the package, grouped by direction.
Recommendations
Selected names with an explanation of how they meet the criteria and where they are weak.
Domains
An availability check for the .pl domain and, in larger packages, .com.
Trademark search
In larger packages, a search for similar marks in the public UPRP and EUIPO databases in your classes.
Tagline
In the tagline packages, several tagline variants for the chosen name.
A name that survives the logo, the website and the first phone call
The name is the hardest brand element to change. A logo can be refreshed and a website rebuilt, but the name is on invoices, contracts, the domain, the sign and in the minds of customers. That is why it is worth choosing from a list of strong candidates rather than the first idea that happened to have a free domain.
We start with criteria: what the name should suggest, which languages it must work in, whether it should describe the service or be an invented brand, how long it can be and what it should avoid. The candidate list is built on those criteria, and we pick recommendations from it with reasons.
We check every recommended name: whether the domain is free, whether it sounds right and is easy to spell, whether it has unwanted associations and, in larger packages, whether public trademark databases contain similar names in your industry.
We are not a law firm and do not give legal opinions. A search of the UPRP and EUIPO databases is a review that shows risks, not a guarantee of registration. If you plan to register a trademark, have the chosen name checked by a patent attorney.

Types of names
Descriptive
Says plainly what the company does. Easy to understand, but harder to protect and to tell apart from competitors.
Suggestive
Hints at a quality or benefit without describing it literally. Leaves more room as the offer grows.
Invented
A new word with no meaning. Easiest for free domains and registration, but customers must learn what it stands for.
Compound
Two words or parts of words joined together. Memorable when the join sounds natural.

How we create a name
Brief or workshop1-3 days
Offer, customers, competitors, languages and name criteria.
1Candidates3-7 days
A list of names in several directions: descriptive, suggestive, invented, compound.
2First cut1-3 days
We drop names with taken domains, awkward spelling and unwanted associations.
3Checks2-5 days
Domains and, in larger packages, trademark databases, pronunciation and handles.
4Recommendations1-2 days
A document with recommendations, reasons and taglines if they are in the package.
5
We reserve about 15% of the project time for revisions. If no recommendation fits, we go back to the criteria and the candidate list instead of starting from scratch.
What naming pricing depends on
The price depends mostly on the number of candidates and the depth of checks, not on the length of the name.
- 1
Number of candidates
More candidates mean more directions to try and more checks at the selection stage.
- 2
Languages and markets
A name for several markets needs pronunciation and association checks in each language.
- 3
Trademark databases
Searching for similar marks in UPRP and EUIPO across several classes takes time and documented results.
- 4
Industry
In industries with many registered marks, free names and domains are harder to find.
How not to overpay
- Agree the criteria before we start so the direction does not change midway
- Buy the domain as soon as you choose the name
- Order naming together with the logo
- Prepare a list of names you do not want
Who we create names for
New companies
A name with a free domain, ready for business registration and a logo project.
New products and ranges
A product name that fits the parent brand and works on packaging.
Companies before a rebrand
A new name when the current one limits the offer or gets confused with competitors.
Companies going abroad
A name checked for pronunciation and associations in English.
Events, apps and projects
A short name with a free domain and social media handles.
How to prepare for naming
Examples of names you like, and of names you definitely do not want, help most.

| Check | Question | In package |
|---|---|---|

| Pronunciation | how Polish and English speakers say the name | Naming with Checks |
| Handles | is the name free on the main social networks | Naming with Checks |
A database search is not legal advice
In larger packages we search the public UPRP and EUIPO trademark databases for identical and similar names in the classes your company works in. The result shows whether there are obvious obstacles in the way of the chosen name.
It is a review, not a registrability study or a legal opinion. Whether a mark can be registered and whether it infringes the rights of others is for a patent attorney to assess. If you plan to register, treat our report as input for that consultation.
Name criteria in different industries
A good name for a construction company meets different criteria from the name of an app. A few examples we start the conversation with.
A name for a construction or renovation company
Customers of a renovation company often find it in maps and call after seeing a van or a sign. The name should be easy to repeat over the phone, short enough to fit on the side of a van with a large phone number, and not lock the company into one service if it plans to grow.
A common trap is a name made of the owner name and a building-related word, of which the market has plenty. They make it hard to stand out in maps and to register a trademark. We look for names that suggest something, such as precision or punctuality, without repeating competitors.
A name for a transport or cleaning company
Transport companies often work abroad too, so the name has to read well for drivers and customers who speak other languages, without Polish characters that cause trouble in domains and systems. It helps if it looks good on a trailer seen from a distance.
For a cleaning company, trust and an association with cleanliness matter, but names built on the literal word clean are very common. Names that convey calm and order, and that can be protected, tend to work better.
A tagline for the name
A tagline adds what the name does not say directly. If the name is invented, the tagline explains what the company does. If the name is descriptive, the tagline can add a promise or character.
We test a tagline the same way as a name: on a business card, in a website header and on a vehicle. It should be short, understandable without context and true, with no promises the company will not keep.
