What you get in an employer branding project

Every package ends with materials ready to publish and templates your HR team uses independently.

  • Job ad template

A layout with room for the role, responsibilities, requirements, benefits and pay, ready for pasting content.

  • Recruitment graphics

Posts and stories for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram in the formats those platforms show in the feed.

  • Banner and cover

A LinkedIn company banner and covers for the recruitment campaign.

  • Campaign key visual

In the hiring campaign, one motif adapted to every format.

  • Careers page

A Figma design for a careers page or site, with job listings, a description of work and a form.

  • Onboarding

In the employer brand system, materials for new joiners: a welcome, a company guide and a first-day card.

  • Team merch

In the system, t-shirt, mug or welcome kit designs, with files for the manufacturer.

Recruitment is also contact with your brand

Candidates usually meet a company through a job ad, a LinkedIn post and the careers page before they speak to anyone. If the ad is a wall of text in a job board template and the careers page is one sentence and an email address, the company looks less organised than it really is.

Employer branding has two sides. The first is decisions: what kind of employer you are, what you offer and to whom. The second is the materials where those decisions show. We handle the second side: we design job ads, graphics, a careers page and materials for new joiners in your brand style, so recruitment looks like the rest of the company.

We do not run recruitment, publish ads or survey employees. We work with the information you have: role descriptions, benefits, team photos and what people who already work for you say.

We design materials so HR can keep using them on its own: a job ad template, Canva graphics and a careers page where new openings are added without a designer.

We do: copy for the materials

We do not: recruitment

We do not publish ads, run paid campaigns or screen candidates.

How we work on employer branding

  1. Brief with HR1-3 days

Roles, benefits, recruitment channels and what sets the company apart as an employer.

    1
  2. Input from the team2-5 days

Photos, short quotes from employees and facts about the work you can confirm.

    2
  3. Direction3-5 days

The job ad template and first graphics in the target style.

    3
  4. Materials1-4 weeks

Remaining graphics, the careers page, onboarding and merch, depending on the package.

    4
  5. Handover to HR1-2 days

Templates, files and a short session on how to use them.

    5

We reserve about 15% of the project time for revisions. Approve the job ad content and benefits before design, because the template layout depends on them.

What employer branding pricing depends on

The price changes mostly with the number of materials and whether they include a careers page and onboarding.

  1. 1

    Number of formats

Each recruitment channel has different proportions and requirements, so a graphic is made in several versions.

  2. 2

    Careers page

One page is a different scope from a site with openings, team descriptions and the hiring process.

  3. 3

    Onboarding and merch

Materials for new joiners and merchandise designs are separate projects with their own files.

  4. 4

    Language versions

A second language version needs the layout adjusted to longer or shorter text.

How not to overpay

  • Collect team photos and quotes before we start
  • Start with templates and add a campaign for a bigger hiring push
  • Prepare a list of benefits you can confirm
  • Order materials together with an identity or rebrand

Who we do employer branding for

  • Companies that hire all the time

A template system where HR publishes new openings without a designer.

  • Companies opening a new location

A hiring campaign with a key visual for many roles at once.

  • Software houses and IT companies

A careers page and materials that compete for specialists with bigger employers.

  • Manufacturing, logistics and retail

Clear job ads for manual roles, also in print versions.

  • Companies after a rebrand

Moving the new brand onto recruitment and onboarding materials.

How to prepare for the project

Information from your HR team and from people who already work for you helps most.

0 / 6 ready

  • The roles you are hiring for
  • Benefits and conditions you can confirm
  • Recruitment channels: job boards, LinkedIn, social media, print
  • Photos of the team and the workplace
  • Short quotes from a few employees
  • Logo, colours and typefaces or brand guidelines

Employer branding in practice

A few things worth knowing before you order recruitment materials.

A job ad people read to the end

Candidates scan a dozen ads one after another, so in the first seconds they look for three things: what the job is, where and for how much. That is why we build the job ad template around that information and move the company description lower, where an interested person will read it.

We split requirements and responsibilities into short points and show benefits as specific facts, such as the number of remote days, not slogans about a friendly atmosphere. If you state pay, the template gives it a clear place, because it is the first thing candidates look for.

A careers page: what it should include

A careers page answers questions candidates will not ask in the first interview: what a working day looks like, who the people on the team are, how the recruitment process works and how long it takes. Add the current openings and a simple form that does not require creating an account.

We design it so HR can add openings without a designer or a developer. The page can be built by the software house VulCode or by your own developer.

Real photos and quotes instead of stock

The strongest employer branding material is the people who already work for you. A few photos of the team at work and short quotes about what they like in their job tell candidates more than the best graphic.

You do not need to organise a shoot. Phone photos taken in good light are enough, and we choose crops, editing and how they appear in the templates so they look consistent.

Onboarding and merch: the brand on day one

Recruitment ends with a signed contract, but the impression of the employer brand continues. A welcome email, a company guide and a first-day card help a new joiner know what to expect and whom to ask.

A welcome kit with a t-shirt, mug or notebook is a small gesture that is easy to design in your brand style. We prepare files for the manufacturer, and you order production from the supplier you choose.

Recruitment offline

Not every candidate looks for jobs on LinkedIn. In manufacturing, logistics, retail and hospitality, a job ad often works best as a poster at the factory gate, in a shop window or as a local flyer.

That is why we also prepare the job ad template for print: an A3 or A4 poster with a large job title, pay if you state it, and a QR code leading to the form. HR updates the poster in Canva as easily as a post.
