What you get in a video edit
We deliver every video in the formats your platform needs. The editing project file stays with us and we hand it over on request.
Edit
Choice of shots, pace and order, starting with the first seconds that need to stop the viewer.
Captions
Burned-in captions in your brand style or a separate SRT file, because many people watch without sound.
On-screen graphics
Title cards, lower thirds, an animated logo and highlighted lines designed like the rest of your materials.
Colour correction
Matching colours between shots and cameras so the video does not jump from warm to cold.
Audio
Levelled volume, noise reduction, background music and, in ads, sound effects.
Formats
Landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16 or square, depending on where the video will be shown.
Editing, graphics and sound in one place
Good footage is only half a video. Whether people watch to the end depends on the edit: the first seconds, the pace, captions that work without sound and audio that is easy to listen to. That is the part we handle, from raw footage to a file ready to publish.
We work with your footage: recordings from a phone, a camera or a camera operator, screen recordings, photos and brand graphics. We add captions, title cards with your logo, animated lower thirds, colour correction and clean audio, meaning levelled volume, reduced noise and background music.
We do not shoot on set or rent equipment. If there is no footage yet, we prepare a shot list and a short script before filming, so you or your operator capture exactly what the edit needs. If the video needs a voice-over, we help you find a voice artist, and you pay them directly for the recording.
We edit videos in your brand style: with its colours, fonts and logo animation. That way a reel, an interview and an ad look like one series rather than three videos by three different people.

What we do not do, and what happens then
Filming on set
We do not have a film crew. We prepare a shot list and script for your camera operator, or for you if you film on a phone.
Voice-over
We help you choose a voice artist and prepare the script for recording. You pay the voice artist directly.
Music
We choose music from libraries with a commercial licence. If a chosen track is paid, we agree the licence cost before we start.
2D and 3D animation
Animated title cards and logos are part of the edit. 3D product animation is part of our 3D design service.

How we edit a video
Brief and footage1-2 days
Goal, platform and length. You send the footage via a link and we check that nothing is missing.
1Edit plan1-2 days
For longer videos and ads, a scene outline or an interview transcript with marked passages.
2First cut1-10 days
Edit, graphics and rough audio. You comment with timecodes, for example 0:42.
3Revisions and colour1-3 days
Revisions, then the final colour grade and audio mix.
4Export1 day
Files in the formats you need, captions and, on request, a thumbnail.
5
We reserve about 15% of the project time for revisions. Changes to order and chosen passages are best raised at the first cut, before final colour and audio.
What the price of video editing depends on
The price depends mostly on how much footage there is to review and how much graphics the video has, and only then on its length.
- 1
Amount of raw footage
An hour-long interview cut down to 5 minutes is more work than 10 minutes of ready shots.
- 2
Graphics and animation
Simple captions are different work from animated title cards, charts and a logo animation.
- 3
State of the recording
Noise, mixed cameras and poor lighting need extra colour and audio work.
- 4
Number of formats
Each extra proportion means new framing and often a different pace at the start.
How not to overpay
- Mark the passages in the footage that must be included
- Film with a shot list prepared beforehand
- Order several reels from one day of filming instead of one at a time
- Send your brand graphics at the start so we do not rebuild them from video
Who we edit videos for
Businesses filming on a phone
Reels with tips, behind the scenes and finished jobs that look professional despite simple footage.
Experts and personal brands
Interviews, video podcasts and vertical cut-downs from one recording.
Companies at fairs and conferences
An event recap and a video for the screen at the booth.
Product brands
A product ad for paid campaigns, combined with 3D animation if there are no photos.
HR teams
Recruitment and onboarding videos with your team speaking.
How to prepare footage for editing
The better described the footage, the sooner the first cut is ready.
0 / 6 ready
- Footage in original quality, not sent through a messaging app
- Where the video will be published and how long it should be
- Passages that must be included, with timecodes
- Your logo, colours and fonts
- Examples of videos you like
- A list of people in the video with names and roles for lower thirds
Video format and where it is published
| Where | Format | What to watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts | 9:16 | Captions and logo clear of the platform buttons |
| YouTube and your website | 16:9 | Strong first seconds and a thumbnail |
| Facebook and LinkedIn feed | 1:1 or 4:5 | Captions, because video starts muted |
| Meta ads | 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5 | Several opening variants for testing |
| Screens at fairs and in stores | 16:9 | Readable without sound and from a distance |
Types of video we edit
Reels and shorts
Vertical videos of up to 60 seconds where the first second and captions readable without sound matter most.
Interview and expert video
A conversation cut to its best passages, with lower thirds, title cards and cutaways so viewers do not watch one face the whole time.
Company video
A few minutes about who you are and how you work, with your team speaking and shots from the workplace.
Event recap
Highlights from a fair, conference or launch. If you want to publish right after the event, we book the editing slot in advance.
Recruitment video
Short statements from employees and behind-the-scenes shots, in versions for the careers page and job ads.
Video podcast
An episode in landscape and several vertical clips to promote it on social media.
Video editing in practice
How to hand over footage, how to comment on cuts and what helps people watch to the end.
How to hand over footage
Send recordings through a cloud drive, as original files from the phone or camera. Messaging apps and email compress video, and lost quality cannot be recovered in the edit. Files are best organised in folders by day or scene.
Add a short note: what the video is about, where it will go, which passages matter most and what you definitely do not want to show. For interviews, a transcript or timecodes marking the key answers help.
The first seconds decide
On social media a video competes with scrolling. If the first seconds do not show what it is about and why to stay, viewers scroll on. That is why we start the edit with the strongest moment, not the logo and a greeting.
In reels we open with a question, a result or a specific promise and move the logo card to the end. For ads we also prepare several opening versions for testing, because the opening decides whether viewers stay.
How to comment on a cut
Comments with timecodes are the fastest to work with, for example 0:42 shorten this answer or 1:15 swap the shot for a close-up. Comments without timecodes, such as a bit too long, need another conversation before they can be applied.
The first cut is for judging order and choice of passages, not colour and sound, which we refine at the end. It is best to gather comments from everyone in one place so contradictory changes are not made.
Captions that read themselves
Some viewers watch social media video without sound. Captions must be readable on a small screen, not cover faces and not fall under app buttons. We design them in your brand style, highlighting the key words.
For YouTube and website videos we also prepare a separate SRT caption file. It helps deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers and lets the platform understand the content of the video better.
Music and rights to the footage
Music from popular tracks, even a few seconds of it, can get a video blocked or muted by the platform. That is why we use music from libraries with a commercial licence covering online publication and ads in company videos.
The same goes for people on camera. If employees or customers appear in the video, it is worth having their consent to publish their image, and when filming in public places, being careful with recognisable people in the background. You collect consents, and we can blur faces in shots where needed.
