Clothing brand design: logo, tags and a print collection, from embroidery to shipping packaging and a lookbook
We design clothing and streetwear brands: a logo that looks good in embroidery and print, graphic collections for garments, woven and card tags, bags and shipping packaging, plus a lookbook and drop graphics for social media. The starter kit lists the price of every element.

A brand people want to wear
In a clothing brand, the logo is not a signature at the end of an offer. It can be the product itself: embroidery on the chest of a hoodie, a print on the back of a T-shirt, a tag the customer sees every time they put it on. The mark has to look good there, in different techniques and sizes, and be distinctive enough that people want to wear it.
We design the logo in production-ready versions from the start: for embroidery, screen printing, DTF and sublimation, in one and several colours, with a variant for small places such as a tag or sleeve. We show every version on a product visual before it goes to the manufacturer.
A clothing brand lives in collections. We design graphics for the first drop and the rules for the next ones: colours, typefaces, motifs and how the logo is placed. Plus tags, bags, shipping packaging and a lookbook, so a parcel from the brand looks like part of the collection.
We do not sew or print. We prepare files for the sewing workshop, the printer and the tag maker, help choose techniques and check samples, and you pay for production directly.
Kits for clothing brands
Two kits: a brand start and a first full drop. Each element is a package from our price list. Kit prices are the sum of the starting prices of packages from our price list, with no surcharge and no discount. The quote gives the exact scope and timeline.

Ask about the kitClothing brand mistakes
They show up at the embroiderer, the printer or in the parcel, when the collection is already made.
A logo that cannot be embroidered
Thin lines and small text cannot be stitched at a small size, and chest embroidery is a few centimetres wide.
Too many colours for screen printing
Each screen printing colour is a separate screen, so an eight-colour graphic raises the cost of every piece.
A label without composition
Textile products must carry fibre composition information, and without it the product does not meet labelling requirements.
Stock mockups instead of visuals
A mockup from a popular pack makes a collection look like a template rather than a product.
A graphic without a sample
Print colour on dark cotton looks different from the screen. A sample from the printer before the full run saves money and stress.
An unbranded parcel
A grey mailer without a sticker or card creates no impression, and that is when the customer meets the brand.
Garment decoration techniques
| Technique | Where it works | Graphic requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Embroidery | chest logos, caps, labels | thick lines, few colours, no gradients |
| Screen printing | larger runs of one graphic | colours as separate layers, a limited palette |
| DTF printing | small runs, many colours | full colour, clean edges, a high resolution file |
| Sublimation | polyester sportswear, all-over print | a design on the manufacturer's pattern |
| DTG digital print | single pieces and print on demand | full colour graphics, best on light fabrics |
What a label must include
Fibre composition
EU Regulation 1007/2011 requires textile products to carry durable, legible and easily accessible fibre composition information.
Online sales
Under article 16 of that regulation, the composition must be visible to customers before purchase, including in an online store.
Care symbols
Washing and ironing symbols are a separate system of signs. Agree their scope with your label maker.
Brand and size
A label with the logo and size is part of the product the customer sees every time they wear it.
A parcel people want to show
Packaging
A box or mailer with the logo, or a simple sticker on a plain box.
Tissue and sticker
Printed tissue or a sticker wraps the product like a gift.
Thank-you card
A card with a short brand story, a code for the next order or an invitation to follow the profile.
Hang tag
A tag with the product name, price and a short collection description.
Building a clothing brand step by step
A logo that works in embroidery and print
A clothing logo works in tough conditions: on fabric, as embroidery a few centimetres wide, in one thread or ink colour, on stretching knit. That is why we design it in several versions from the start: a full one for large prints, a simplified one for embroidery and labels, and a mark for small places such as a sleeve or cap.
We show every version on a product visual at scale, and before production it is worth doing a sample at the embroiderer or printer. Files are prepared to the maker's requirements, with colours in the system they use.
A print collection
A collection is more than a few logo graphics. It has a motif, a palette and a placement logic that connect products, while each product is interesting on its own. We design graphics that can be printed in the chosen technique, with a sensible number of colours and production costs in mind.
The Merch Line package also gives you rules for future drops, so the next collection is recognisable as the same brand, even if someone else designs it.
Packaging and unboxing
A brand that sells online meets its customer physically only in the parcel.Branded packaging, a sticker sealing the tissue and a thank-you card turn an ordinary delivery into a moment customers like to share on social media.
Not every brand needs printed boxes at the start. A simple logo sticker on a plain box with a card inside gives a lot for little money, and full packaging can be designed as sales grow.
Drop after drop
A clothing brand grows with each collection. Each can have its own motif, but the logo, tags, packaging and way of communicating should stay the same, so customers recognise a new drop as part of the brand at once.
That is why after the first drop we leave rules: how to place the logo, how to build a collection palette, how to design announcements. With them, later collections come together faster and more consistently.
