  • Alerts

Alerts with an entrance animation that match the overlay, instead of three different styles.

  • VTuber model

A character designed from scratch and a 2D model in Live2D or a 3D model in VRM format.

A channel viewers recognise from the first frame

Viewers land on a channel from a category list, a clip, a raid or YouTube recommendations, and decide in a few seconds whether to stay. The stream overlay, thumbnails and chat emotes are the first things they see, before they hear what you say.

We design channel branding around one character or channel mark. The overlay, starting and break screens, alerts, emotes, badges and thumbnail layout grow out of it, so your Twitch channel, YouTube videos and Discord server look like one place.

If you run your channel as a VTuber, the model is the centre of the whole brand. We design the character with motion and rigging in mind from the start, and test 2D models in VTube Studio. Emotes and the overlay then speak the same language of colours and shapes.

Files are delivered ready to use: PNG and WebM with transparency for OBS and Streamlabs, emotes in Twitch sizes and in versions for Discord, and the model with files for VTube Studio or in VRM format. The economic rights pass to you once the invoice is paid, and we never sell the same character to anyone else.

Mistakes in channel branding

Each one makes a channel look less cared for than it really is.

  • An overlay that covers the game

A camera frame over the minimap or an info bar where the HUD sits gets in the way of viewers watching.

  • Emotes with fine detail

In chat an emote is 28 pixels. Thin lines and text disappear, and only the silhouette, expression and colour remain.

  • Elements from different sources

An overlay from one store, alerts from another and emotes from a third person do not add up to a recognisable channel.

  • Text baked into the graphics

A stream title or schedule baked into an image needs a designer for every change. We leave changing text as text in OBS.

  • A character you have no rights to

Emotes with a character from a game or anime are commercial use of someone else's property. We only draw characters you have the rights to.

  • A model that was not designed for motion

A character that looks great in a still drawing can look stiff when the head turns, if it was not made with rigging in mind.

Channel branding step by step

Start with a character or a mark

Channel branding is best started from the creator's character or mark, because emotes, alerts, badges and thumbnails grow out of it.If you have a logo, a mascot or a model, the overlay develops their colours and shapes.

If you do not have a mark yet, we start with a simple channel mark and a palette. To begin with, an overlay with starting and break screens and a few emotes is enough, and you add more elements in the same style as the channel grows.

An overlay for the game you stream

An overlay has to work with the game you play. The camera frame cannot cover the minimap, and the info bar cannot sit where the game shows its interface. That is why we ask for screenshots of the games you stream and lay out the elements so they do not clash with the HUD.

Files are delivered ready for OBS or Streamlabs, with instructions for setting up scenes. Text that changes, such as the stream title or schedule, stays as text in OBS, so you can change it without a designer.

Emotes and badges

Emotes are the language of chat, and good channel emotes live beyond the stream too: on Discord, in comments and on merch. In chat they display at 28 pixels, so we draw each one with the smallest size in mind and check it in a real chat.

We draw them with your character: from your face in a simplified style, from the channel mascot or from your VTuber model. In the 8 emote packages you get a character sheet and source files, so we can draw more emotes in the same style later.

A VTuber model: design and rigging together

Viewers look at the model for hours of streaming, so it has to look good with every head turn, facial expression and word. That is why we treat character design and rigging as one job, and draw the illustration in layers prepared for rigging.

A 2D model is built in Live2D Cubism and goes into VTube Studio, where we test blinking, mouth movement, head turns, breathing and hair physics. A 3D model is prepared in VRM format, which is supported by programs such as VSeeFace and Warudo.

YouTube thumbnails and videos

A thumbnail on a phone is a few centimetres wide, so we design it around one idea: an emotion on a face, an object or a question. The colours and layout are distinctive enough that a regular viewer recognises your channel in the list.

YouTube Studio lets you test up to three thumbnails for one video, so in our packages we prepare variants that differ in something that matters, such as the crop or the text. If we also edit the video, we pick thumbnail frames during the edit.

A Discord server for your community

A Discord server is where viewers keep talking between streams. An icon, banner, invite background, role icons and emotes in the style of the channel make the community look cared for from the first invite.

Discord makes the banner and role icons available from server boost level 2. We design them in advance, so you can upload them as soon as they unlock.
