A school parents recognise by its mark
Parents get to know a school or preschool through many small materials: the sign at the entrance, the open day poster, the website with announcements, the end of year certificate and the T-shirt at a competition. If each of these looks different, the school seems less organised than it is.
We design the logo and materials of a school in one style, so they are easy to use for people who are not designers. Certificate, letter and announcement templates come with fields to fill in, and in the larger package as templates in Word and Google Docs.
The logo works in colour and in black, on a poster from a print shop and on a sheet from an office printer, on a rubber stamp and on a T-shirt. If the school wants to refer to its patron or to the municipal coat of arms, we check the rules for using those symbols with you before the design starts.
We do not print. We prepare files for the print shop and the signage maker, plus templates for printing at school. We design the website in Figma, and it is built by the software house VulCode we work with every day, or by the developer the school works with.

Each one makes a school look less careful than the work it does.
A clip art logo
A ready-made owl or book from the internet may already be in another school's logo, and its licence is often unclear.
A logo only in colour
Without a black version the logo turns into a grey smudge on a photocopy, a rubber stamp and an announcement from an office printer.
Every announcement in a different style
Posters made by different people in different programs do not build recognition for the school.
A poster that reads like a notice
A long text in small print on a door will not stop a parent. The date, the place and one key piece of information are enough.
A certificate with a default border
A certificate with a border from a word processor looks less special than the pupil deserves.

The school logo
A school logo should express what sets the school apart: its place, patron, profile or tradition.We avoid generic symbols such as an owl, an open book or a graduation cap, which are easy to find in templates, and look for a motif connected to your school.
We design the mark to work in colour and in black, on a rubber stamp, a sign and a T-shirt. A school uses it for years, often without a designer involved, so it has to be easy to use.
A preschool and its mascot
In a preschool a character often says more to children than a logo.A mascot can appear on posters, certificates, invitations and T-shirts, and children recognise it faster than lettering.
We design it as vectors, with a pose and emotions for different occasions. In the larger package you get a character sheet with views and more poses, so new materials are made in the same style.

An end of year certificate, a thank you note for parents or a teacher's ID badge are documents people look at up close and keep.It is worth making them look special and carry the school mark.

We design posters as templates where you change the date, place and programme for each new event, in formats for a print shop and for the school printer.
Building signage
The sign at the entrance, directions in the corridors and room signs help parents, guests and new pupils.When they are designed as one system, the building looks orderly and is easier to find your way around.
We design signage with files for the signage maker and a list of all elements, so the school orders them in one place and adds new signs in the same style later.
The school website
Parents visit the school website for announcements, timetables, enrolment information and contact details, most often on a phone.We design it so this information is easy to find, in desktop and mobile versions.
On the website we follow the WCAG accessibility guidelines, which require a contrast of at least 4.5:1 for normal text. The design is made in Figma, and it is built by the software house VulCode or by the developer we hand the design to.
