Construction company logo design: legible on workwear, vans and site banners

We design logos and materials for construction, renovation and fit-out companies. The logo has to work on a work jacket, a van door, a banner on a site fence and in Google results, so we check it in each of those places. The starter kit with business cards, a van wrap and a banner lists the price of every element.

In short

How much does a construction company logo cost?

Logo Start costs from 1,200 PLN net. The starter kit with business cards, a van door and back wrap and a site banner costs from 2,930 PLN, and every element has a price from our list. Yes. • Company vans

  • Site banner

A large format for the fence, with the name and number visible from a passing car.

  • Business cards

  • Map and social profiles

A construction company is seen on site, not in a catalogue

People often first meet a construction company on the move: they see a van outside a neighbour's house, a banner on a site fence or a crew in branded jackets. Only then do they look the name up and call. The logo and name have to be legible from the street, from a few metres and in a hurry, not just on a designer's screen.

That is why we start with the media. We check how the logo looks embroidered on a jacket, on a van door, on a banner seen from a car and as a small square on the company's map profile. Only once it works in all of those places do we refine the details.

We avoid the clichés that repeat across the industry: a house with a roof, a trowel, a hard hat and bricks. Clients already know you are a builder. The logo should help tell you apart from competitors on the same street, not repeat what the name says.

We do not print or wrap vehicles. We prepare files for the wrap shop, the large format printer and the embroidery company, and help with the order, while you pay the supplier directly.

Kits for construction companies

Two kits, from a single crew to a company with several vans. Each element is a package from our price list, so you can swap it for a larger or smaller one. Kit prices are the sum of the starting prices of packages from our price list, with no surcharge and no discount. The quote gives the exact scope and timeline.

Mistakes you see in construction logos

These problems only show up on site, on a van or at the embroiderer, when fixing them costs the most.

  • A cliché logo

A house with a roof, a trowel or a hard hat makes the company look like dozens of others in the area.

  • Too much detail

Thin lines, shadows and gradients disappear in embroidery and on mesh banners.

  • A tiny number on the van

A number nobody can read from a few metres will not bring calls from the street.

  • Every van different

One van wrapped in one style and another in a different one look like two companies.

  • A generator logo

Free generator designs use the same symbols, so a competitor can end up with an almost identical mark.

Naming a construction company

If you are just setting up, the name matters as much as the logo. A few rules we check in our naming service.

Short and easy to say

Clients recommend builders over the phone, so the name has to be easy to write down from hearing it.

More than a surname

A surname builds trust, but makes it harder to sell the company or grow it under another brand.

Not too narrow

A name with one service, such as plastering, gets in the way once you take on full fit-outs.

Free domain and profiles

We check the domain and whether the name could be confused with a company in the same region.

Building a construction brand step by step

A logo you can see from the street

A construction company's best advertising is its vans and its sites.A van parked outside a client's house for a few days is seen by the neighbours, and everyone who walks or drives down the street passes a banner on a fence. For that to turn into calls, the name and number must be legible from a distance and the logo simple enough to remember in a few seconds.

That is why we design logos with a clear shape and strong contrast, and on vans and banners we order information as name, what you do, phone number. The website and address can be smaller, because someone who is already interested will look for them.

Workwear and embroidery

Embroidery has limits: very thin lines and small text cannot be stitched, and every colour is a separate thread.A logo that looks great on screen can turn into an illegible patch on a jacket. That is why we prepare a simplified embroidery and print version in one or two colours.

Before ordering workwear, ask the embroiderer for a sample on the jacket fabric. We prepare files to their requirements, and if you order a whole workwear collection, we help match the technique to each item.

From one van to a fleet

The first van is sometimes wrapped in a hurry, and with the second it turns out a different model has different body lines and the design has to start again. In the fleet guidelines package we design rules: where the logo goes, where the number goes, which stripe colours, so the wrap shop can prepare more vehicles without a new design.

A consistent fleet signals a stable company with several crews. For a client choosing a contractor for a house or a major renovation, that argument works before the first conversation.

Map profile and website

A client who saw your van or banner will look you up in search and on maps. There the logo appears as a small icon next to project photos and reviews, so it has to read in a square and a circle, without the name beside it.

Project photos are a construction company's strongest argument. On the website and profiles they work best in one layout, captioned with what was done, instead of a random set of phone pictures. We design the website in our web design service, and the software house VulCode, builds it.

A quote that looks like the company

Estimates and quotes are documents clients compare with competitors' offers, sometimes at a table with several printouts side by side.A quote on letterhead, with the logo, a clear table and contact details in the same place, looks more serious than a table pasted into an email.

We prepare quote templates and letterhead in Word or Google Docs so you can use them yourself. They are part of the identity and stationery packages.
