A store where products look as good as in the ad

In an online store, customers cannot pick up the product. They judge it by the photos, the description and how the whole store looks. If photos come in different light, banners in a different style from the ads, and the product page does not answer basic questions, it is easy for customers to go back to search and buy elsewhere.

We design the visual side of a store as a whole: identity, store layout, product pages, banners, ad creatives, marketplace images and packaging. A customer who clicked an ad lands in a store in the same style, and the parcel they receive looks like part of the same brand.

We make product images in 3D. The product model is built once, and from it come packshots on white, styled shots, colour variants and animations. A new colour or packaging version is a material change in the model, not a new shoot. It works especially well for packaged products, electronics, cosmetics and items with a fixed shape.

We design the store in Figma, and the software house VulCode, builds it. Home page, category and information page copy is written in our copywriting service, around the phrases your customers search for.

Online store graphics mistakes

Each one lowers trust or makes buying harder.

  • Photos from different shoots

Products in different light, backgrounds and crops make a category look like offers from several stores.

  • Ads in a different style from the store

A customer who clicked a colourful creative and landed in a store in a completely different style is unsure they are in the right place.

  • Variants missing from photos

A product in five colours with one photo makes customers imagine the rest.

  • Banners with small text

A banner designed for a monitor is unreadable on the phone some customers view it on.

  • An illegible favicon

A logo that does not work as a small browser tab icon gets lost among other open pages.

3D packshot or photo shoot

Honestly: 3D is not always better. When each one works.

3D

Products with a fixed shape: packaging, bottles, electronics, furniture, cosmetics. Many colour variants and products that do not exist yet.

Photo shoot

Clothing on a model, ready-to-eat food, products where the texture of natural materials matters.

Both

Packshots in 3D, and a lifestyle shoot with people for campaigns. The same light and palette keep them consistent.

Cost over time

The model is made once, and further shots and variants cost less than a new shoot.

A product page that answers questions

Elements we design on the product page in every store.

Gallery

A packshot, views from several sides, detail close-ups and a photo for scale or in use.

Variants

Colour and size selection that changes the image straight away.

Key information

Price, availability, delivery time and returns visible without scrolling.

Description and specs

A clear layout for the description, the spec table and answers to common questions.

Online store graphics step by step

A store that looks like a brand

An online store customer meets the brand in many places: in an ad, on the website, in an email, on a marketplace and in the parcel. If each looks different, it is hard to build trust and recall. A store identity ties them into one whole.

We start with the identity and carry it over to the store design, ad creatives and packaging. New banners and campaigns then come together faster, because they build on ready rules.

3D packshots instead of a shoot

A photo shoot of every product in every variant costs time and money, and with new products it is sometimes impossible because the product does not exist yet.A 3D model is made once, from dimensions, drawings or a sample, and gives packshots in one light and background for the whole catalogue.

A new colour, label or packaging version is a change in the model and a few renders. From the same model we prepare styled shots, an ad animation and marketplace graphics.

A product page that sells

The product page is where customers decide. It has to answer their questions without searching: what the product looks like from every side, which variants exist, what it costs, when it arrives and how to return it.

We design the product page as a template that works for the whole catalogue, with a gallery, variants, a key information block and space for description and specs. On phones we arrange these elements so the buy button is always at hand.

Ads and banners

Store campaigns need many creatives in many formats: square, portrait, landscape, stories, display banners. We design the campaign key visual and adapt it to the formats, with variants for testing headlines and images.

Store banners are designed in the same style, with a separate mobile layout so the text reads on a small screen too.

Marketplaces

Marketplaces have their own image requirements: background, crop, proportions and what may appear in the main image. The requirements change, so before preparing graphics we check the current rules of the platforms you sell on.

3D packshots work well here, because one model gives the main image on white and additional graphics with details, dimensions and the product in use.

The parcel as part of the store

The parcel is the only moment an online store customer touches the brand.A logo sticker, packaging in the store colours and a card with thanks or a code for the next order make the order memorable and more likely to be shared on social media.

Printed boxes are not needed straight away. Stickers and a card are enough to start, and full packaging is worth designing as orders grow. We design both options in the store style.

Email and returning customers

A newsletter, order confirmation and abandoned cart reminder are graphics customers see in their inbox. We design them in the store style, with light files and a layout that stays legible when the email program does not show images.

Email templates are prepared in the system the store uses, or as files your developer adds to the mailing system.

Store design and build

We design the store in Figma: a sitemap, wireframes, page templates and a component library for desktop, tablet and mobile. The design covers the whole customer journey, from the home page through categories and the product page to the cart.

The software house VulCode, which works with us every day, builds it, so the design reaches the developers without being explained to another company.
